One-day retreats are exactly what you need to receive the reboot you need and reap the benefits without having to travel far, find time from work, babysitters or a budget just for this.

Sometimes we know what we need and we have everything we need to practice what is good for us, but the environment we are in is not conducive to achieving it or the people around us are not supportive.

If you are beginning to want to take care of yourself, it may be difficult for you to knit in your daily time to meditate, do yoga or take a few minutes to breathe, relaxing is almost inappropriate and it can cause stress or guilt to want to take time to renew ourselves.
